Joanie's Best Ribs Ever

Pre heat oven to 350 degrees

Full rack of ribs 

2 cups brown sugar
3 tablespoons Montreal steak seasoning
2 tablespoons cajun seasoning
2 tablespoons garlic powder
2 tablespoons onion powder
2 tablespoons meat tenderizer
2 tablespoons seasoned salt
2-4 tablespoons lemon juice

On a flat surface dry the ribs with paper towels, Place ribs on foil covered shallow baking pan bone side down.

In a small mixing bowl mix all dry ingredients together with a spoon. Slowly add the lemon juice until you have a  thick  paste (like toothpaste.) Make sure there are no lumps.

Spoon 1/2 the paste mixture on each side of the ribs, smoothing out to cover each side with your fingers.

Place ribs in oven uncovered and bake for 1 hour 30 minutes.

Check temperature of meat (should read between 160-180 degrees) Turn oven off and brush exposed side of ribs with hickory flavored BBQ sauce.

Let ribs sit in oven for another 30-45 minutes before cutting and serving.
